Last weekend was a special family event ….so I hopped the plane and was there in a few hours. The airplane is in the air around 18 minutes from Victoria Island to Vancouver. The Vancouver Airport is a beautiful modern airport that has won awards. Then down to San Diego in less than 3 hours.
Of course passports are required but entry and re-entry in both countries is relatively easy. The Global Entry card is a great addition if you plan on traveling frequently. I was scooted past lots of people with that card to the digital kiosk where you scan your passport. Then print out a customs ticket and you’re on your way.
The biggest time delay is between flights.
So there is no hardship regarding living a dual life. In fact it is fun.
